Travelynx facilitates checkins into public transit (such as buses, trams, or trains) in Germany, Austria, Switzerlanz, Luxembourg, Ireland, Denmark, parts of the USA, and more. This way, you can track your own journeys (often including map and real-time data), share them with others, and examine highly relevant questions such as “how many hours did I spend in public transit in the past month?”.

The idea for such a service was first proposed and implemented by Träwelling

Travelynx is a hobby project. It is provided free of charge, without any kind of availability guarantees. Unexpected downtimes or a cancellation of the entire site on short notice are not planned, but always possible. If you like, you can download the source code and host your own instance.
